Tina Fey Has Serious Competition: Gina Gershon Does a Good Mooselini.

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

Yes, I realize that Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is about 15 minutes past her expiration date on the culture-ometer but I saw this little video this morning and had a good laugh.

See more Gina Gershon videos at Funny or Die

(Plus, I’ve had a huge crush on Gina Gershon for many years.)

Enjoy your Thursday–mine has been pretty productive so far…more to come, folks.

Steve Ekstrom Needs You to “Double Click Your Mouse”. (Insert masturbation joke here.)

Tuesday, June 24th, 2008

Oh, Steve--you pathetic sonuvabitch...

A few months ago, I joined RedRoom.com at the request of Ivory Madison, CEO of Red Room, who I interviewed for Newsarama for her work on Huntress Year One for DC Comics.

Well, now, I’m embroiled in the “clicking war” of a lifetime. The stakes: an expense paid overnight for two to San Francisco and dinner with said CEO and her friends from Red Room. Basically, for every unique click I receive between June 1 and July 31st, I get a notch on the post–the more notches–you get the rest…

Here’s the thing–I’M IN FIRST PLACE…but just barely. Want to help me win this thing?

A Smart comedy, sort of

Monday, June 23rd, 2008

Though nothing in my mind will outshine his role as Brick Tamland, Steve Carell delivered an entertaining performance as Maxwell Smart, code name Agent 86, in the Warner Brother’s summer flick Get Smart. Based off of the character from the 1960’s television series, Get Smart updates the spy story with a new cast of characters, including Anne Hathaway, Alan Arkin, and The Rock, and modernizes the terrorist menace threatening the world.

Officespace meets Webcomics: “My Life In a Cube”

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

life-in-cube.JPGThe wonderfully droll webcomic “My Life In a Cube,” by Shane Johnson, is a terrific way for us office 8-5ers to pass the time. Cute, funny and very creative - the strips are often drawn on various paper-mediums (sticky notes, napkins) - each of the goofy gags humorously, and truthfully, reflects today’s modern office life.

So avoid filing those documents and spent some of your salaried-time reading: http://www.mylifeinacube.com/

Why the f_cking world needs more f_cking Restricted trailers: Step Brothers.

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

This is the most ri-fucking-diculous trailer I’ve seen in a long time. This will be the next “quotable” flick–guaranteed. If you don’t enjoy this trailer…you’re an idiot.

Have a happy Tuesday.
