Watching Scott Steiner talk about the 47-degree angle of the Earth’s rotational axis has to be one of the finest pleasures in life.

  2. The Russ Says:

Steiner lost me when he tried to describe the axis of the world… if his freaks are horizontal, doesn’t that mean they’re at 47 degrees too? Maybe he found the G-spot…

I met New Jack once… I’m pretty sure he wasn’t trying to kill Grimes, he WANTED to kill Grimes.

My favorite Hogan Wrestlemania promo was at 7 where he talked about riding his Harley and California falling into the ocean and a bunch of other insane crap… but I had forgotten that dog paddle bit at the end. I burned through my copy of Wrestlemania IV when I was a kid, even though it was like 8 hours long.

  3. Corey Henson Says:

According to his Wikipedia page, New Jack actually said in the Forever Hardcore documentary that he was trying to throw Grimes into the ring post hoping he would be injured or killed. I have no idea if he was telling the truth or just posturing. Dude is a little crazy, after all.

  4. Steve Ekstrom Says:

Yeah, I own Forever Hardcore…that is one of the most fucked up moments on a wrestling dvd–when you can see him throw Grimes off the scaffold and you know his intentions.

Grimes was a terrible worker–he was sloppy and needed to be stocking shelves at Wal-Mart–not Wrasslin’.

Back to the Big Bad Booty Daddy…um, I think that this promo was the BEST promo he ever cut–because you could tell that he memorized those lines. Some friends of mine and I met Steiner in one of the various topless bars in the Atlanta area one night–and he wasn’t very pleasant to talk to–but he really was an impressive site with those damn arms.

I think my buddies and I mimicked this promo when we got drunk for months…between Steiner and the Bagley “I got abs for days” promo–there were never–eeeeeever–two finer meatheads.

  5. The Russ Says:

New Jack is the same guy who stabbed the kid in Florida in the ring and got arrested for it (then auctioned off a phone call with him in jail on eBay). He’s a real piece of something.

  6. "The Guvnor" Paul C Says:

The Hulk promo is great but Steiner’s takes the biscuit. It’s always fun watching him do one as it is usually gibberish but there is always a tiny nugget of warped genius hidden in there somewhere.
