Beware! It’s the return of NKOTB

Whoa! Even though no one demanded it, The New Kids on the Block are returning for a reunion tour (much older, and kinda still hot)! Is anyone excited about this? Me being a lover all things pop culture, teen bubble-gum pop is a personal fave, I find myself very disinterested. Does this mean I am losing my inner teen girl to a more mature, age appropriate adult (I hope not), or is this attempt just too little too late from the boys from Boston? Couldn’t they have come back, I dunno, 15 years ago? Will this tour be a success? I have my doubts since these boys are no Spice Girls (hardy-har-har)!

    I can just see it now:

    Little girl #1: “Eeeewwwww, gross–Jordan and Donnie ran a double-teamed my mom.”

    Little girl #2: “I think I can see Donnie’s adult diaper through his pants…”

    I think I’d go to a Milli Vanilli reunion first–where they exhumed Rob’s body and had someone operate him like a marionette next to Fab on stage.

    My wife has already called me and asked me to solicit for tickets. I told her, you’ve got to be out of your f-ing mind if you think I want to go to some reunion show full of Hangin’ Tough freaks… it’s the annual carefully-orchestrated nostalgia cash grab.
