Great Moments in Wrestling History

It’s Wrestlemania weekend, so let’s celebrate by taking a look at some of the greatest moments in wrestling history.

First up: From 1990, Sting’s new tag team partner saves him from an attack by the Four Horsemen.

Next, Sting and the British Bulldog introduce a new superstar who will shock the world!

Hey Sid, maybe you should practice your promos backstage a little bit before the show starts, mmkay?

Do you kiss your mama with that mouth, Booker T?

Sadly, this may actually be the highlight of Val Venis’s career, because it was all downhill from there.

The Big Bossman pays his respects to the Big Show’s dearly departed father. (Why the hell is Big Show wearing leather pants to a funeral? Or at all, really?)

  1. Troy F'n Brownfield Says:

In Mon Mothma voice: “Many cows . . . died . . . to make those leather pants.”

  2. Steve Ekstrom Says:

    HAHAHAHAHA!

Oh thank God and little baby Jesus I lived overseas and watched WWF shows when that actually went down…

    …I would’ve stopped watching…and maybe met more girls…and kept playing sports…

…oh my God, I’ve got to build a time machine!

  3. The Russ Says:

Robocop sprinted down that aisle about as fast as Mae Young. He looked to be on the juice too…

I had never seen Shockmaster’s full entrance (just the fall) until recently, but when I did, it was awesome… also funny and also on YouTube, the promo he does with Tony Schiavone where he becomes the clumsy construction worker.

Troy and I saw the Sid promo live here in Indy. That was also where he handed a Shotgun Reviews business card to Stacy Keibler.

Big Show casket-boarding behind Boss Man’s ‘78 Nova is one of my favorite moments in wrestling.
