   some st8 text book stuff here…

   At least somebody was smart enough to book this match. Shame though it wasn’t made into a bigger program. Must’ve been when Vince took the position that knowbody really cared about “tag-teams”.

   Or..maybe Bret (at this point) was tired of wrestling tag matches?

   This match happened right before the Bret and Owen feud began, so there was no chance the Harts were going to stay together as a team. And you’re right, Bret probably didn’t want to wrestle tag matches anymore. It would have been a step back for his career. Still, that would have been a hell of a great feud.
