Third Tynes The Charm

After a hard fought game, the New York Giants are going to the Super Bowl. The NFC championship game was back and forth, with the Eli Manning and Bret Favre battling through a close first half. The Giants outplayed the Packers in the second half, but Lawerence Tynes missed two potentially game-winning field goals. In overtime, following a Favre thrown interception, the Giants got into field goal range again, and Tynes kicked a 47 yard field goal to end the game and send his team into the big game. Now it’s Giants vs. Patriots. This makes the Giants only the second NFC Wild Card team to go to the Super Bowl. Congrats, Eli.

    You know–I so wanted to see the Patriots meet up with the Packers. Favre vs. Brady is like a football match-up wet dream. You may be a Giants fan…

    The Patriots are going to murder the Giants.

    I was happy either way. My dream match, given the teams that made the playoffs, was Colts v Giants; with second being Pats v Packers. I would not have minded seeing Favre show Brady what being a lasting qb is all about.

    I will remind you, only a month ago, the Pats only beat the Giants by 3 points. Also, Eli is definitely playing MUCH better football in the postseason than he ever has. I think this will be a much closer game than people think.
