An Open Letter to the Messiah Complex Team
Dear Writers, Artists, and Editors involved in Messiah CompleX,
This has been a pretty damn good crossover so far! I’m anxious to see how it all plays out. And, WHU?!?! Madrox and Layla are in BISHOP’S future? Hells yes. Ya know, even the artistic inconsistencies don’t bug me that much (like, say, Cable having little baby mutant in a cloth, then strapped to his chest in the next issue, then in the next issue seconds later, no longer having her strapped on and back in the cloth- what’s that? His whole uniform changed, too? Huh…). Honestly, it doesn’t bug me because it’s not relevant to the story. All in all, a bang up job.
Oh, By the Way…
ANGEL IS A FREAKING HEALER, TOO! ELIXIR IS NOT THE ONLY ONE! REMEMBER? ANGEL? THAT DUDE POSING WITH A BUNCH OF OTHER MUTANTS IN FRONT OF A BLACKBIRD? WHAT, WE CAN’T POKE ANGEL WITH A NEEDLE AND USE HIS BLOOD TO HEAL ALL THE WOUNDED, INCLUDING A FEW CHILDREN AND HIS LONG TIME FRIEND, NIGHTCRAWLER? FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, IT WAS LIKE TWO YEARS AGO THAT THIS WHOLE “ANGEL CAN HEAL PEOPLE WITH HIS BLOOD” WAS WRITTEN! MIKE MARTS WOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOU!
That’s all. Thanks for listening, and keep up the good work. :D

The idea that Angel was a healer was a BAD conception from the Chuck Austen regime and I’m pretty sure it’s being Retconned right out of our memories much like the NEO and everything else that’s been lame in the X books for the past fifteen years. The X-Men haven’t been this good since 1991 when Claremont left the books.
