Well…I gave this wacky idea a shot yesterday and it got a flood of comments. All of a sudden, feverish message board addicts were clamoring to be the next subject of this public ridicul…ahem…interview. So…without further ado…I introduce you to the conveniently labeled “punk rock prostitute”…

KHuxford: So…you’re the 17th most prolific poster on Newsarama.com. What possessed you to start posting on the ‘Rama and will you have it exorcised anytime soon?
eltopo: basically I sit at desk all day and it seemed like a better thing to do then sit on myspace all day
eltopo: the comic book demon will be in me for life
eltopo: there is a beast in man that needs to be exercised, not exorcised.
KHuxford: So, what initially brought you to Newsarama?
eltopo: I’m 17th btw wow ?
eltopo: comic book girls
eltopo: hahaha
eltopo: honestly,I used to come to the front page all the time but it took me months before I realized there was a message board part
KHuxford: Comic book girls? The real kind or the four-colored fictional variety?
eltopo: both at once
eltopo: I like to tape old jim lee issues of x-men to a girl’s back

KHuxford: That’s…ummm…ok. Back to your start at Newsarama. So…the front page content of the site is what really grabbed you?
eltopo: basically
eltopo: it was really the only decent comic news website i could find
eltopo: website that is
KHuxford: Gotcha. Is that the same reason you decided to make Talk@ such a staple of your POST WHORE ways?
eltopo: yeah I like the free for all aspect of it all,I love comics but I get sick of talking about them 24/7
eltopo: and it’s hard to shoehorn my pictures in to threads about Greg land or Danny way
KHuxford: What pictures do you like to shoehorn into threads?
eltopo: pictures of myself and various crickets
eltopo: that’s what I’m most known for anyway on the board “the 20+ camwhore”
eltopo: such a name to live up to
KHuxford: A name to live up to or one that only exists because of your natural ways…tah-MAY-toe, tah-MAH-toe, I guess. So…the 20+ thread is one of the main attractions for you and where your POST WHORING is primarily on display?
eltopo: I don’t know if I’m a natural I think I’m just around alot of drunk girls that like their picture taken.As far as my posting goes most of my post are in the 20+ thread I love those guys (and girl) they’re good people

KHuxford: Looking at your recent postings, 17 of the last 25 (all of which were posted in less than an hour) were in the Twenty Something thread, so you’re dead on accurate there. You seem to post with more frequency than some people ahead of you on the list. Is there a part of you that is actively trying to work up the list?
eltopo: not really,I’m pretty bored at my desk at work all day so I’m really just trying to pass the time,I have no idea of how many posts I make I just know it’s gotta be a lot
KHuxford: Posting a lot at work…a good segue to my next question: has your POST WHORING on the ‘Rama ever caused you any problems? Terrible productivity? Lateness for obligations? etc?
eltopo: strangely enough no,I have posted some sensitive stuff on the boards but thankful most people in my life have no idea (or care ) that the ‘Rama exists

KHuxford: Wow…so it hasn’t once made you run late for a movie or be deprived of a Biggie-sized triple cheeseburger meal because you got to Wendy’s after closing?
eltopo: nah I rarely post here after 5pm
eltopo: I have my priorities in life
KHuxford: Never leave work late because you couldn’t pull yourself away from posting?
eltopo: plus it’s hard to type while looking at porn or drinking
eltopo: nah
eltopo: believe it or not
eltopo: once five gets around I’m dying to leave work
KHuxford: Wow…you certainly are an atypical POST WHORE, then. You might be able to gain some notoriety if you put together an e-book called HOW TO HAVE A LIFE AND POST WHORE SUCCESSFULLY. What are some of these other priorities that you manage with posting?
eltopo: the sad thing is I still dont think I have much of a life,priorites in my life would include drinking (sad how that’s what I goto first ),going to concerts that’s a big one music is pretty much a huge part of my life,drawing etc.Those most that know me know that a great deal of my time is spent trying to find new girls to have sex with as crass as it sounds it seems to be a true statement,though lately I’m changing my ways I’m actually looking for love now (how sad is that ?)
KHuxford: I’d have to say I’m impressed with how long you’ve gone without mentioning the bands you’re in, since sources of mine suggested you’d try to plug them in this interview. Go ahead…get it out of your system…
eltopo: yeah I dont know where that came from
eltopo: I’m in a lot of bands but I don’t have any shows or new material coming out so no need to plug I guess
KHuxford: those bands must have a MySpace or website or something…g’head…you know you want to…
eltopo: my latest effort (heads in the oven ) was somehow deleted off of myspace
